Refund Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
We want you to feel good about what you buy. Here's how refunds work for each kind of product. Your statutory rights as a UK consumer are always in addition to what's set out below.
Digital downloads (ebook & audiobook)
Because digital files can't be "returned", the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations let us ask you to waive your 14-day right of withdrawal once you start downloading. By using the download link in your email, you're agreeing to that waiver.
- If the file is corrupted, doesn't open, or never arrived, email us and we'll fix it or refund you in full.
- If you bought by mistake and haven't used the download link, email within 14 days for a full refund.
The Famalam membership
- You can cancel any time from your member area. You'll keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- We don't pro-rate refunds for partial months or years.
- If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment and haven't accessed any member content, email us and we'll refund that first payment in full.
- If you forgot to cancel and were charged for a new period you didn't use, get in touch within 30 days — we'll usually sort it out.
Workshops & live events
- Cancel 7+ days before the event: full refund.
- Cancel 2–6 days before: 50% refund, or transfer to the next equivalent event for free.
- Cancel less than 48 hours before, or no-show: no refund, but you'll get the recording (where one is made) so the time isn't wasted.
- If Marion cancels, you get a full refund or a free seat at the next equivalent event — your choice.
How to request a refund
Email hello@afraidtofart.com from the address you used at checkout. Include your order ID (it's in your receipt). We aim to reply within 5 working days, and approved refunds reach your card within 5–10 working days after that, depending on your bank.
Your statutory rights
None of the above limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
