Who you're buying from
Everything on this site is sold by Marion Bevington, trading as Afraid to Fart, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@afraidtofart.com.
What we sell
- Digital downloads — the Afraid to Fart ebook and audiobook.
- The Famalam membership — recurring access to member content.
- Live online workshops, including the Founding Farters Fraternity events.
Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in British pounds (GBP). Payment is taken securely by Stripe at checkout. Memberships renew automatically until you cancel from your member area. You authorise us, via Stripe, to take the renewal payment on the same day each billing cycle.
Delivery of digital downloads
After you pay, we email a download link straight away. The link is valid for 24 hours — please save the file somewhere safe. You can also access your downloads any time by signing in to the member area with the email you used at checkout. If your link expires or doesn't arrive, email us and we'll resend it.
Famalam membership
- Billed monthly or yearly, in advance.
- Cancel any time from your member area — your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- We don't pro-rate partial months or years.
- If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment and haven't accessed any member content, email us for a full refund (see the Refund Policy).
Workshops
Your seat is reserved when payment clears. You'll receive joining instructions by email. If you can't make it, see the Refund Policy for what's possible. If we have to cancel a workshop, you get a full refund or a free seat at the next equivalent event — your choice.
Acceptable use
The book, audiobook, member content and workshop recordings are for your personal use. You may not republish, redistribute, resell or share login details. Quoting short passages with credit and a link back is welcome — that's normal book etiquette.
Intellectual property
All written, audio and visual content on this site is © Marion Bevington unless stated otherwise.
Not medical advice
Marion writes about the body, breath, posture, trauma, fear and being human from her own experience. The book, workshops and member content are not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice and are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you're struggling, please speak to your GP or a registered therapist.
Limitation of liability
We do our best to make sure everything works, but to the fullest extent allowed by law we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or our products. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that can't be limited under UK law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless you're a consumer based in another part of the UK, in which case your local courts apply.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one in force on the day you bought.
